| Place two large pegs in the desired holes, evenly spaced from the center | |
| If you want to make a ten inch bow, place the pegs ten inches away from each other | |
| Place two large pegs in the two large holes on the center edges of the bowmaker | |
| With a long length of ribbon (several yards), place the end between the two center pegs | |
| Wrap the ribbon right side out around the left peg, through the center pegs and around the right peg | |
| Repeat wrapping to desired fullness | |
| Tie all the ribbons together between the center pegs tightly with a piece of ribbon or wire | |
| Remove the bow from the bowmaker | |
| Pull , spread and separate each loop individually |
