Excerpts from p.354:
"After a long interval we hear of the Charles, which had left Barnstable, April 10, 1632, arriving June 5th, "with near eighty cows and six mares." 
During the year 1633, "thirty-four Dutch sheep and two mares reached the colony, June 15, on the Eliz. Bonadventure, Graves Mr., six week from 
Yarmouth, and on the 4th Sept. the Bird, Yates Mr., arrived, having on board four mares, after being twelve weeks at sea."
